Michelle Browne is the founder and president of Browne Bookkeeping Services, bringing over 20 years of experience in accounting, business, and finance. A QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, Bookkeeper Business Launch graduate, and Income Tax Course certificate holder, Michelle has led teams of all sizes in day-to-day operations and back-of-the-house finances across industries including restaurants and wineries. She founded Browne Bookkeeping Services in 2019 after discovering her passion for the financial side of business, and her experience provides clients with impactful insights and trusted guidance in all things bookkeeping.
Michelle thrives on helping clients connect the dots on their business finances, guiding them to achieve and surpass their goals, and building long-term relationships grounded in trust. She takes pride in turning complex financial data into actionable insights that empower business owners to succeed.
Outside of work, Michelle is a devoted wife and mom of two, a follower of Christ, and deeply invested in her family and community. She’s also known for her love of sourdough—so much so that she’s been known to share loaves as part of her marketing. (After all, what’s more memorable than a warm, fresh loaf of bread with your business card accompaniment?) Whether cheering at baseball and soccer games or tending to her starter, Michelle brings the same care and commitment to her community as she does to her clients’ finances.
Samantha Speakes
Bookkeeping Professional
Samantha brings over 15 years of accounting experience to the team, with a career spanning roles as a bookkeeping professional, cost accountant, senior accountant, and assistant controller. A proud graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, she also holds advanced certifications as a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, Payroll Specialist, and Bookkeeper Business Launch graduate. Her diverse background includes working across industries from software to wineries, apparel, and merchandise—giving her a well-rounded perspective on business finances.
What Samantha enjoys most is helping clients see the big picture of their financial health—analyzing reports, uncovering insights, and celebrating as they achieve their goals. And when technical cost accounting is on the table, she’s fully in her element.
Outside of work, Samantha is a proud wife and mom to her three girls. She is rooted in her faith in Christ, loves traveling (especially to Disney with her family), camping, spending days by the river, and watching her daughters play soccer and softball.
Heidi Ochoa
Bookkeeping Professional
Heidi brings a unique mix of financial and business experience to the team. A QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and Bookkeeper Business Launch graduate, she has served as a Chamber of Commerce Treasurer, Office Manager, and Banker. Her background gives her a strong foundation in both bookkeeping and real-world business operations.
What Heidi enjoys most about bookkeeping is learning the financial story behind each business she supports. She loves diving into the numbers, gaining insights into different industries, and helping clients keep their finances organized and accurate.
Outside of work, Heidi is a devoted wife and mom to her five kids. A follower of Christ, she values faith, family, and community. At home, she enjoys life on her little piece of land with her goats and chickens, soaking up the summer sun, and floating in the pool or river with her family.
